FAQ

We ship from Vancouver, BC Canada and ship to the US and Canada with these methods:

  • Real time calculated shipping available on all orders.
  • Free shipping with tracking on orders $100 CAD shipping to Canada.
  • Free shipping with tracking on orders $150 USD ($180 CAD) Shipping to USA.

Standard Shipping Times

Delivery times depend on the shipping service you chose at checkout. Estimates are shared per shipping option. 

Please note in times of high postal volume shipping times can be longer.

Upon dispatch we provide delivery tracking information allowing you to stay up to date. You can also contact us with any questions you may have as no question is too much. (Unless you choose Free Warehouse Shipping). 

Please allow 2 days for processing before shipping delivery time. This means that a shipment which estimates 2-8 business days for delivery will take 1-2 days for processing. This means you can expect to see the order in 3-10 business days. Read more in the 'Processing Time' section below.

**Covid-19 Update**

As everyone is aware the world is currently facing an unprecedented crisis and the impact of this is being felt by most industries. Shipping is one industry which has been impacted causing unpredictable delays to orders in some cases.

As we rely on multiple shipping carriers to best service our customers worldwide we do our best to select the most efficient shipping service to your location. That being said, if your order does encounter delays when in the hands of a third party please let us know so we can assist you best. 

The situation is still fluid currently and changing daily. We are monitoring developments closely and hope that shipping couriers return to pre crisis efficiency shortly.

Processing time

1 - 2 days on average.

In peak times it can take slightly longer, however this is rare. 

Processing time should be added to the estimated delivery time.

Delays

In rare occasions, delivery can take longer than the standard shipping times stated above.

Delays can be caused by third party transport and postal services, border control or customs delays which aren't elements within our direct control. As we sell globally we must place such general notices for your benefit.

Please contact us should your order be delayed. We ask for your patience and understanding should this happen and will do what we can to help you.

Separate shipments

We strive to ship complete orders. In some instances however, your order may be split into multiple packages if this will speed up delivery to you. In this case, you will be provided with multiple tracking numbers to keep you updated.

Customs fees

With 99% of orders, customs fees do not apply and should not be a concern to you. Please contact us should you have any questions on this aspect, we'll be happy to look into your order details to see which shipping method would be best.

In some rare cases you may be charged for handling fees and country specific taxes as your order passes through customs. Van X, as an international seller, can't accept liability for any such fees encountered as they vary greatly. Any charges incurred on a parcel must be paid by the person receiving the parcel.

Should your order be in the 1% that this does occur for please contact us for further information and we will support you as best we can. 

Track your order

If your order has been shipped using a traceable service, you can follow its journey to you step by step.

You'll receive a shipping confirmation email once your order is fulfilled with all the information you need. Click on your tracking link as per the instructions in the dispatch email to view the up to date tracking information at your leisure.

Missed delivery / Return to sender (RTS)

In the instance of a missed delivery to you, your local postal service will typically provide a notice to collect the parcel from your nearest post office branch or book a redelivery. We recommend that you collect the item within the time frame stated upon the notice slip to prevent issues. 

If you cannot collect your parcel in time and it does get returned to sender or, you enter incorrect shipping information and the item is returned to sender, we appreciate your understanding while we work to send a new shipment to you.
